Costs of fertilizer will be up for the next growing season.  There are difficulties with transportation and credit terms to dealers.  There is a universal shortage of rail cars and the shipping time keeps creeping up.  The bottom line is the cost of fertilizer will be up, supplies will be tighter and dealers will be under more pressure to meet your needs.  It is not too early to start talking to your suppliers about next year’s crop needs and how you can work together to ease the pain.
